Surah Falaq had five Ayahs and Surah Naas had six Ayahs, altogether counting eleven. When our Nabi Muhammad (S.A.W) read all the eleven Ayahs, all the knots were opened one by one. The Prophet (S.A.W) was cured. The Prophet (S.A.W) urged Muslims to recite these two Surahs as often as possible. It will protect us from the evil works of Devils

Surah Falaq is a Meccan Surah however few scholars also believe it to be Medinan. Indeed, this Surah holds great importance in our lives as it is a kind of weapon against all evil. Some notations regarding its revelation states that it was revealed when prophet Muhammd (Peace Be Upon Him) was unwell.

Answer. Surah Falaq and Surah Naas both were revealed during the same occasion and in relation to the same event. In the Musnad of Imam Ahmad it is narrated that a person in the name of Labid Bin Asam cast a magical spell on the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam as a result of which the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam fell ill.

Verse [ 113:1] قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَ‌بِّ الْفَلَقِ (Say, “I seek refuge with the Lord of the Daybreak.”. ) The word falaq means ‘to split or cleave’ and here it is used in the sense of ‘break of dawn’. In another verse, a similar quality of Allah is used in [ 6:96] فَالِقُ الْإِصْبَاحِ.

Surah Al-Ikhlas (Sincerity) Surah Ikhlas is very effective for love. Whoever recites this Surah 1000 times after the isha prayer for 125 days for any purpose. Inshallah, By the grace of Allah SWT. His wish will be fulfilled. Whoever makes a habit recites this Surah 111 times. Inshallah, By the grace of Allah SWT. He will be dearer to the people.
